Its main festival and awards ceremony takes place annually in Berlin, with regional editions across Latin America and Asia Pacific. Recognized for its intimate scale and strong curatorial vision, the festival brings together established figures and emerging talent united by a shared appreciation for work done well.
We developed the visual identity and brand guidelines to reflect the spirit of openness and curiosity that defines CICLOPE. The exclamation mark — rhetoric’s quintessential device for highlighting, emphasizing, and singling out — becomes the central symbol: a cyclops that embodies, in its most synthetic form, the very act of awarding. Just as the exclamation mark draws attention to what deserves to be noticed, CICLOPE puts the spotlight on the people and pieces that raise the bar of the industry.
The resulting system is playful, flexible, and human, designed to celebrate a diversity of voices while keeping craft at its core. Adaptable to screens, posters, and physical spaces, the identity generates a dynamic and versatile presence that matches the energy of the festival across every edition.
